HR Manager

Location: Austin, TX

DOZ is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and personable HR Manager to provide support to our Austin office with daily administrative functions, employee relations, and recruitment, as well as enforcing company policies and practices.

*This position requires working out of our Austin office four days per week with the option to work remotely one day per week.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with onboarding new employees, organizing and preparing for their start, and providing orientation on their first day
  • Assist with offboarding permanent and temporary employees
  • Assist Austin employees with questions about time entry, benefits, and other company policies and escalate concerns/questions as needed
  • Assist with recruiting, organizing campus events, and interviewing for talent in the Austin market
  • Ensure and enforce company policies and practices within the Austin office
  • Serve as a liaison between the Austin team and leaders in the Carmel office, including Partners, IT, and administrative staff
  • Manage daily office operations by maintaining and assisting with the upkeep of the office, including office supplies and general office needs
  • Serve as the point of contact for building management in addressing any issues with the office
  • Assist in coordinating office events
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, HR, or related area required
  • 5+ years relevant experience preferred
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Ability to handle employee and company information and data both confidentially and sensitively
  • Knowledge and experience in HR programs and practices
  • Office management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
